After many years working in various project management positions, either employed or working freelance, Maja decided to set up her own business called Black Iris Exhibitions. Her decision was partly based on her moving to a new house with workshop facilities, and partly that she was reaching the end of a major contract with the Welsh Assembly, having worked as part of a team delivering International exhibitions on their behalf. Having worked in the exhibition industry for many years, Maja is now able to offer complete exhibition services throughout the world!

With an on-site workshop, and a skilled team, Maja knows the exact progress of each build every single day, this allows her the ability to co-ordinate all other aspects of the exhibition including graphics, lighting, transport and other services needed such as translation services for overseas shows. She also deals with the press and can assist with marketing materials required for a perfect exhibition.

Maja is able to offer a personal, cost effective service that she is able to oversee herself from the very start to the end of the exhibition. She can deliver her exhibitions worldwide and has very strong connections with Eastern Europe, "Setting up my own business during the current economic climate has been a challenge" says Maja, but she is confident that cost effective personal service will see her business grow
